Topic 22: Many people are optimistic about the 21st century and expect scientists to make positive changes to the world. To what extent do you agree or disagree with their optimism? What changes would you like to see in the new century?

Since 2000s, the world has seen upsurge advancements in every part of the scientific studies so people believe that in 21st century scientists can introduce beneficial inventions to the world. To my opinion, there is no another way to make the world better place but only expecting innovative actions of the science related individuals. To make this opinion clearer bodies below offers some analyses.

To begin, it is worth to believe that in 21st century human being is able to experience the positive change of the world because of the life based technological advances as last 2 decades has completely proven some pieces of the theory. The reasons are adequate there, because technological developments such as advanced telecommunications, robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) have already filled humans’ life with advantageous revolutions that bring about one’s better lifestyle. For example, an auto-pilot car supported with AI has self-drive system means no need for owner’s interaction. Interestingly, during the travel, the one can engage in other activities such as sleeping.

Additionally, there are some schemes now in applied permanent researches and overtime, they can be a boom advancement in the human history. For example, rocket and space science technologies have already faced strong and dramatic improvements which can allow for the further researches on other planets to creating suitable conditions for having a life there. To prove the above, ‘’ SPACE X’’ a successful space company now in action of colonizing the Mars planet and in next several decades having a friend lives there may not be a surprise.

To sum up, if this one fifth of 21^st century is considered as a great start of the great changes that it gave to over world, the end of the century might be expected as being in a different world. I would also hope to see some inventions in nanotechnology for example, aircars like now in science-fiction movies.
