Introduction
20 min

1.1. Teacher starts the lesson with asking the following questions:
1. How do you think what are the main three stages of text?
2. Are three stages of text important within a lesson?
3. How can we work on three stages of text during a lesson? May be you know some techniques?



    1. Answering the questions providing necessary examples

Activity 1
10 min

Teacher divides students into 3 teams and distributes handouts. After reading team members retell the content to the whole group. Then teacher holds classroom discussion.

2.1.Brainstorming, organizing the speech in groups, writing.

5 min

2.2 3 volunteers come up to the blackboard and speak on any topic they wish for 1 minute, but students will not have an opportunity to observe the time, so if a student feel that he has spoken for 1 minute, he should stop. A student with closest to 1minute time will be the winner.

The whole group discussion

10 min

Teacher gives a short text within a lesson. Then the teacher holds a whole-group discussion.
Questions for discussion:

  1. What is the text about?

  2. What can you say about the text?

  3. Can be the text profitable for a lesson?
