There are many types of teaching methods, they are audio-lingual method of 

language teaching, grammar-translation and etc. This article is different from them, 

this method is for teaching and motivating students to learn languages easily. In my 

point of view not only teaching Uzbek language but also teaching any kind of language 

is one of the most hardest and the most responsible work. Uzbek language is difficult 

for people who is not Uzbek. The games and activities can help them to learn and 

practice Uzbek language. 

How  do  games  help  in  teaching  this  language?  What  kind  of  games  do  the 

teachers need during the lesson? Let’s find the answers to these questions step by 

step. 

The  games  and  activities  are  one  of  the  most  important  things  in  teaching 

language because they  help to learn and  understand Uzbek  language easily. Using

games in teaching language is the effective way to create an enjoyable atmosphere in 

the class. They help learners to learn and retain new words more easily. There are 

several effects of using games in teaching Uzbek language for the learners. They are 

fun, enjoyment and wonderful mood.They usually involve friendly competition and 

they  keep  learners  interested.  These  create  the  motivation  for  learners  as  Uzbek 

language to get involved and participate actively in the learning activities.  

The teachers try to use games in teaching language, such as vocabulary and 

grammar games. There are some problems in learners pronunciation. That’s why our 

teachers should use pronunciation games too. They help to pronounce correctly, put 

a stress, find stressed syllable and the moving of stress and I think the use of various 

activities. They are drawing, matching games, questionnairs and others. According to 

the quantities of participants, the games and activities are divided into three types: 

They are: 

1. 

Pair work. 

2. 

Group work. 

3. 

Team work. 

What do you think which of them are the best? In my opinion pair work, group 

and team work is very effective teaching strategy for teaching a foreign language, as 

learners  increase  their  speaking  skills.  Pairs  work  is  useful  for  making  dialogue, 

playing games. Working in groups or teams is good for role plays and discussions. By 

working together, the learners are necessary for developing relationships with each 

other. In my opinion all types of games and activities are the best. We must know 

when and how we should use them. In my view, the effects of using games in learning 

language for the learners are fun, enjoyable and easy to understand. Students need 

the fresh atmosphere in study any kind of language. If we want to score big success, 

we should use to teach Uzbek language through activities and interesting games. It is 

one of the most useful wayto learn any kind of language. In today’s high-tech learning 

environment, it would be unfair to limit students to traditional methods. Make sure 

that  your  teaching  process  is  enjoyable  and  stimulating.  Encouraging  students to 

relate their classroom experience to outside interests and activities makes developing 

language  skills  more  relevant.  For  example,  computer-assisted  language  learning 

could  be  linked  to  playing  games  or  to  computer  programs  that  the  students  are

interested in using. And reading Uzbek Web sites can lead students to broaden their 

perspective on their language acquisition process.  

Motivational  teaching  strategies  such  as  these  can  easily  increase  language 

learners motivation levels. So, everything is up to learners. If they have belief, patient, 

force,  effort,  required  performance,  outcome,  valence,  expectancy  and  also 

promotion, they can achieve their goals in future.
