Annotation. Proverbs are a vivid expression of a nation's centuries-old experience, 

knowledge, and skills. There are proverbs among the people that correspond to the reality of 

each situation. Proverbs are found not only in their life, but also in folk epics, in the language 

of performers and heroes. The examples of proverbs in the versions of the epic "Alpomish" 

Umir Bakhshi Safarov, Abdunazar Bakhshi Payonov not only serve to perfectly express the 

character of the heroes and their thoughts, but also serve as an example of the emergence of 

unique,  sometimes  very  ancient  examples  of  proverbs  among  the  people.  The  article 

examines the proverbs written by us in the Kashkadarya region and the examples of proverbs 

from the epic "Alpomish", which are compared in place. An attempt was made to analyze the 

proverbs from an ideological and artistic point of view.
