Annotation. Alisher Navoi's works which were written in Turkic languages are great
spiritual heritage, as well as, they are valuable through basis of national language lexics. In
this article, the specific food names, particularly, the foods which were made from grains are
analyzed through historical-etymolgical, geneological, lexical-semantic aspects in Navoi's
works. There are also noted that the results are given specific field lexics to Uzbek language
history. Besides, in some cases, the food names are compared their historical forms and the
names in nowadays.
