Which meaning can be distinguished in words and word-forms?

The two fundamental sorts of meaning are the grammatical and the lexical implications to be found in words and word-forms. Word-forms, such as books, young ladies, winters, tables, etc. in spite of the fact that signifying broadly distinctive objects of reality have something in common. This common component is the linguistic meaning of majority which can be found in all of them. Hence grammatical meaning may be characterized in indistinguishable sets of person shapes of diverse words. For ex: the tense meaning within the word-forms of verbs (inquired, thought, strolled, etc.) or the case meaning within the word-forms of different things (girl’s, boy’s, night’s, etc.).

In Russian Linguistics the preference is given to the term Semasiology, as the term Semantics is often used as a synonym of the term meaning which can be used in various areas of other sciences too.
