  There are many benefits for young people who travel to foreign countries. Do you agree or disagree?
  

Recently, travelling abroad has become quite trendy among youngsters, which seems to be very beneficial for them in many ways. Personally, I agree with this opinion since this experience can improve children’s independency and worldview.

To begin with, should young minds travel overseas, this can allow them to grow as self-reliant people. This is because, those youngsters will have to literally take step into the new world where they have to look after themselves in many tasks, ranging from cooking to earning a living because of losing support from their family and other caregivers. This can hopefully teach them the reality of life, and make them withstand the challenges in life on their own. Ultimately, in their adulthood, those individuals will hopefully better lead their life independently as they will have particular qualities, such as resilience and problem solving learnt during their journeys. Therefore, young people should be encouraged to travel abroad.

Additionally, this practice seems to broaden youngsters’ horizon. To clarify this, children who have remained in small bubble can encounter global experience and network in a foreign country. Indeed, they have to meet and interact with people from all walks of life, whom they have possibly not met in their community. They can share their views with those people and get new ones from them, for instance, which can probably spark fresh ideas and perspectives.

In conclusion, it seems to me that travelling overseas can come in handy for youngsters, as they can reap several benefits, including self-reliance and enhanced horizon.
