Introduction
As President Islam Karimov stated “Today the world demands that we should say our word, demonstrate our intellectual capacities,”¹ and that is why “The most important thing for us is to give young people an opportunity to master a certain specialty, to provide them with a reliable start in life”².
Undoubtedly nowadays there are many opportunities for the youth of Uzbekistan to show their full capacity in any field. Using these opportunities wisely, I am also trying to research my bachelor diploma work in my specialty.
The given course paper is dedicated to the study of affixation as a productive way of word-formation, which presents a certain interest both for theoretical investigation and for the practical language use.
The aim of this course paper describes the main productive way of word-formation in Modern English according to this general aim there put forward the following particular tasks:
