George Bernard Shaw once said that there were at least fifty ways to say 'No'. Ask PP to think how they can say this word. Ask them to say it in turn for the rest of the class to guess how (with what feelings) the word was said. You can start yourself You can say this word as if you were bored, surprised, happy, unhappy, angry, tired or very strict. We also suggest that you take other words after 'No', and they can be 'Yes', 'Hello', 'Oh"
Activity 2a Obiective: to practise talking about what theatre means for PP PP read the four questions asked by J. B. Priestley and answer the two questions given underneath. Answers will vary. There are no good or bad answers.
