►Procedure:
Mix and distribute stripes with the definitions and terms.
Ask them to watch words with their right definitions.
Activity 3 – Reading for detailed information Objective: to develop reading skills
Time: 30 min
Materials: students handouts 3, 4
►Procedure:
Distribute handout 3 with the text each student.
Ask them first skim the text quickly and look through the words in bold.
After ask them to look through the unknown ones in the dictionary.
When they finish ask them to read the text again but this time more slowly.
As soon as they finish distribute handout 4 and say that they should do true/false task.
When the class finish check the answers with the whole class.
Follow up Objective : to develop critical thinking skills

Procedure:
Ask the class in pairs to present of 2 or 3 minutes speech of what they learnt in the text.
Ask also to present some other real life examples or facts.
