PRESENT COMPLAINT: pain in his right leg and in his back

IMMEDIATE PAST HISTORY: it started about 6 weeks ago and become more severe. The patient wakes up in the night because of this pain. Also the patient has some tingling in his right foot. He didn’t have such a pain in the past, but he had suffered from intermittent pain in his back, but paracetamol wasn’t so effective as was expected. On examination the patient had numbness in his toes on the right foot.
