§ 1.1-Current state of the process of air transportation of raw cotton and analysis of the literature

One of the main requirements for ginners today is to maintain the natural quality of raw cotton, which goes through all the technological processes. Many scientists and researchers have conducted research on the preservation of quality and natural properties of seed cotton and fiber products in the technological processes of primary processing of raw cotton and the improvement of pneumatic transport equipment. In particular, academician R.G.Makhkamov, X.A.Ziyoev, B.M.Mardonov, P.Baydyuk, H.Axmedkhodjaev, X.A.Rakhmatullin, R.Muradov, R.Amirov, M.Khojiev, U.X. Azizxodjaev, R.Fayziev, A.Davidov, S.A.Samandarov, A.Burxanov, A.A.Ismoilov, Z.O.Shodiev, T.O.Shamsutdinov, N.A.Ortiqov, R.Azbadalov, О. Sh.Sarimsakov, OTMamatkulov, MNSaloxiddinova and a number of other scientists are among them. Two methods are used to transport raw cotton. The process is carried out with pneumatic - air, mechanical - with tape or auger. a new method has its own advantages and disadvantages.

Pneumatic cotton transportation consumes more electricity than mechanical transportation. But its construction structure is relatively simple, adapts to the conditions of the enterprise, prevents material wastage, and cleaning efficiency is also high. Fully meets the requirements of sanitation and hygiene. At present, air transportation devices are mainly used for transportation and production of cotton from gins and warehouses.

Previous scientific studies have shown that as a result of interaction with the technological process in the transportation of raw cotton, especially when the moisture content of raw cotton is high, the mechanical impact on the air transport device increases seed breakage and, ultimately, fiber damage.
