Media helps to kindle the learning interest of learners. The computer tools
like internet, audio or video clips help learners to interact or listen to the native
speakers; this increases the morale of learners. Using video, audio clippings in theclassroom is a stimulus for students to communicate about anything interesting
. Multimedia sources like songs, movies, TV series, magazines,
newspapers play a very vital role in improving language. Such sources can be
used it is very important that the students understand that fact so that they to helpthe students improve their language. But great precautions must be taken. Theyuse colloquial English which is, in general, grammatically wrong and do not usethat form of the language in their everyday usage. However, the students can veryoften engage with songs and movies. Through them, they can understand themeaning of expressions, usage of tools of the language like comparisons,personifications etc. These sources help them understand why such tools arenecessary and also help them understand their usage. These innovative ideas theentire learning and the teaching process is enriched and guarantees a success inefficient learning. These are some of the innovative and creative ways of teachingthe English Language (Anburaj, 2014).
All in all, EFL teachers should think of new and varied activities to
empower students to face many real challenges in their future life. Such activitiesmake students to think and react proactively, innovatively and confidently. This issupported by Richards (2001) who suggests that teachers should motivate studentsand provide situation to develop self-confidence among them. Other benefits asput forward by Scrivener (2007) are as follows: (1) Students‟ creativity can bedeveloped, (2) narrative skill is enhanced, (3) English communicative skill can bedeveloped, (4) story narration in an interesting way will grab the attention of theclassmates, and (5) confidence and moral can be developed. In this way, theteacher supports students in a positive way.
Technology applications of any kind, from the simplest to the most complicated, have changed the way we teach and the way we learn. In addition, there are many learning theories available to utilize and integrate these technologies more effectively. This paper will look at the importance of employing technology and appropriate learning theory to improve the outcome of the teaching and learning process. This synthesis paper will discuss (a) the reasons to use technology in the classroom (b) factors that influence a teacher’s technology use in the classroom and (c) the advantages of constructivist learning theory in technology integration in the classroom. This paper will address whether technology by itself makes the education process more effective or if technology needs an appropriate instructional theory to effectuate its positive impact on the learner. The authors of this paper will present their thoughts and conclude with an answer to the stated problem. There are a plenty of methods of teaching. Especially when one is learning a foreign language there one can find any type of activities to obtain targeted lesson. As for English the scholar and linguists distinguish some sections of it, those are namely; reading; writing; speaking; listening. And for each and every section of learning methodologists and teachers have been investigating many ways of gaining and delivering the knowledge.
State educational standards determine the level of knowledge and skills that students must master in their subjects, and continue to serve as the basis for the development of curricula and textbooks. The need to develop a state educational standard (GOS) for general secondary education based on a competence-based approach to education in Uzbekistan is aimed at improving continuous compulsory education based on a competitive approach in order to ensure accurate definition of qualification requirements for graduates in the field of knowledge in physics. The improvement of SES involves the selection of scientific and basic competences in the learning process, through the effective use of foreign experience in the formation of basic competence.
