Overall, it's clear that couple of categories had a big difference in both Medicare and Non-medicare households. Housing, however, was the most type of spending that time.
In 2010, amount of money which spending Medicare household was $30,818. The largest proportion of spending, $10,940, is used for housing. The proportion of spending used for food, health care and transportation were $4,766, $ $4,527 and $4,106, respectively.
When it comes to Non-medicare households, housing responsible for the largest proportion of spending at $16,824, while that of other appliances is smaller by a narrow margin 30%. There is no significant difference between the figures for food and transportation (15% and 16%, respectively), with health care ranking last just $2,450.
