The ten participants were chosen using snowball sampling. Cohen, Manion, and Morrison argued that snowball sampling is used when a researcher identifies a small number of individuals who have the characteristics in which they are interested. Meanwhile, in obtaining students’ explicit answers and avoid participants’ misunderstanding, the interview was administered using language that they used in their daily communication; that is Bahasa Indonesia. The interview all taped to then was transcribed to classify them into interpretation.
