The life cycle of frog
Frogs are amphibians of the order Anura. Their development is by metamorphosis.
The life cycle of a frog consist of three stages: egg, larva and adult
Frogs lay their eggs in water. The eggs are called frogspawn. Within a few days the eggs develop into larva. The larva can be called a tadpole.
After a few weeks, a hormone in the tadpole`s, initiates metamorphosis.
After 24 hour the tadpole is develops. In this period every organ has to change. So the tadpole can go to living on land. We can called this tadpole a froglet or young frog.
