Nature of Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan republic is one of the four Republics of central Asia.
Uzbekistan- a wonderful warm region.
Uzbekistan is situated between the Amu Darya and Syr Darya, the greatest Asian rivers.
The climate is continental. There are a lot of hills and mountains, deserts and plains with different flora and fauna in our country.
There are very few lakes in the republic. The largest of them – Aral. But since 1970 the Aral sea began to dry out.
Over half of the Uzbek territory is covered by desert: the Kyzylkum, Ustyurt and Aralkum.
The deserts nature very diverse. It is a home to the antelope-gazelle, wolf, fox, lark, the tolai-hare, eagle, snakes, squirrels, owls and even turtles.
The deserts flora very rich too: wild tulips, sand sedges, sagebrushes, shrubs and saksauls(black and white).
Tourists are always delighted with the natural beauty of Uzbekistan!
