The Divine Foundation of Reformed Samaritanism
The holy faith of Reformed Samaritanism postulates that, in the final analysis, the message of הוהי (the God 
of Abraham, blessed be He) is not only one of an ethical nature, but in addition is universal, as it is addressed
to the entire human race. What is that message? Well, it is the following:
“Sow goodness, and turn away from all sort of immorality– Renounce your pride, as well as the ego that

seduces you to live as if the universe revolves around your own person [existing solely to satisfy your vain 
whims and wishes]. Live to serve your suffering neighbor, and let God’s love be the foundation of all your 
religious ideas– a love that manifests itself in love for those created in the image and likeness of the Most 
High (in other words, make the habit of treating everybody with the same justice, mercy, humility, and 
consideration with which you would like others to treat you).
As it is written: «Is it not that you break your bread with the hungry, and shelter the wandering poor at home;
that when you see the naked, you cover him, and do not hide from your brother? Then your light will be born
like the dawn, and your salvation will be seen soon; and your righteousness shall go before you, and the 
glory of הוהי shall be your rearguard. Then you will call, and הוהי will hear you; you will cry out, and he will 
say: “Here I am”. If you remove from your midst the yoke, the threatening finger, and the speaking of vanity;
and if you give your bread to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul, in the darkness your light will be born,
and your darkness will be like noon. הוהי will always shepherd you, and in droughts he will satisfy your soul,
and give strength to your bones; and you will be like an irrigated garden, and like a spring of water, whose 
waters never fail. And yours will build the ancient ruins; you will build the foundations of generation and 
generation, and you will be called repairer of gates, restorer of roads to inhabit»- Isaiah 58:7-12.
