Coca-cola, is a carbonated soft drink manufactured by the Coca-Cola company. The company produces coca-cola, the sugary drink it is best known for, invented in 1886 by pharmacist John Stith Pemberton in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1888 Pemberton sold Coca-Cola's ownership rights to Asa Griggs Candler, a businessman, whose marketing tactics led Coca-Cola to its dominance of the global soft-drink market throughout the 20th and 21st century. In 1889, the formula and brand were sold for $2,300, now it is $71,000 in now.

Although John Pemberton invented Coca-Cola in 1886, his accountant Frank Robinson invented the name. Robinson’s beautiful calligraphy continues to beautify the Coca Cola brand logo to this day. In a fact the logo of Coca Cola is familiar to 96% people over the world.
