INTRODUCTION

Today, the world is changing rapidly. It has become necessary to obtain and convey information in all areas, to form an influential public opinion. In such a complex environment, life puts new demands and tasks before us [4].

The media is the most basic, powerful and influential ideological tool. Because the media serves as a unique educator of the public, an organizer of important events, an effective tool for solving pressing problems. It is through the media that our national values and universal values, national ideas and democratic principles are promoted. The media has always been a measure of democracy and freedom of speech. Free and independent media encourages and strengthens democratic development.

There is another important aspect of inculcating the idea of national independence through the media. This aspect is related to the appropriate response to information terrorism, ideological threats, the suppression of attempts to subjugate our people spiritually and ideologically, and the formation of ideological immunity in the citizens of Uzbekistan.

METHODOLOGY

There is a saying that shows the power of the media's influence: "If any false idea is repeated three to four times a week for a fiction - the 'truth' will be ready, people will believe it chippachin." The recent increase in information attacks indicates that attitudes toward war have changed and that new types of weapons have been discovered. This weapon is information. In information wars waged with the help of such weapons, the human mind and heart are targeted. Although it cannot physically destroy a human being like a bullet, its destructive power, the damage it inflicts, is no less than that of any weapon of mass destruction.

Because the blows inflicted on him by this weapon mislead him, urge him to act against his own interests, and thus to control man, to dominate him.

In fact, it takes a lot of work, a lot of effort, a lot of money to organize information attacks. Although such ideological expansion does not lead to shootings and bloodshed, it does lead to a decline at the expense of weakening the sense of national identity.

Modern media, television, computers, the Internet, cell phones, and other means are changing the nationality, thinking, and worldview of people, especially young people. This is evident in the fact that developed countries are using these tools to standardize the minds, worldviews and lifestyles of the peoples of the world and to incorporate into them the "mass culture" they are shaping.

DISCUSSION AND RESULTS
The Internet has become an important link in today’s information space. Today, the Internet can be used not only through a computer network, but also via satellite, radio, cable television, telephone and mobile communications. The internet is becoming an integral part of people’s lives. The fact that more than 2 billion people today use it to one degree or another confirms the correctness of these ideas.
Reaching an audience of 50 million, it took 38 years for radio, 13 years for television, and 10 years for cable television to become popular, and the internet has gone through this stage in 5 years. The Internet has great potential to influence people's minds and emotions, their way of thinking, their behavior. Today's development of the Internet has led to a sharp increase in the scale and scope of ideological influence. The Internet has become an important link in today's information space.
The following figures show that the Internet is becoming an integral part of people's lives: from 2000 to the end of 2012, the number of Internet users in the world increased by 9.6 times to 2.4 billion, and the number of mobile subscribers increased by 13.4 times to 6.7. billion. 44.8% (1.1 billion people) of Internet users are in Asia, 21.6% (519 million people) in Europe, and 11.4% (274 million people) in North America. 45% of the world's web audience is under 25 years old. 68% of these teenagers send an SMS to someone every day, 51% access social networks, 30% use e-mail. Most Internet users prefer to access the Internet using mobile devices - in 2018, the number of broadband connections reached 5.3 billion, compared to 268 million in 2007. The share of this type of communication, which corresponds to 100 people in the world, increased from 4% in 2007 to 69.3% in 2018. By the end of 2018, 1.1 billion wired internet connections were recorded. 4 billion Internet users At the end of January 2018, we released a report by the global media agency We Are Social and the developer of the social media management platform HootSuite, according to which more than four billion people worldwide use the Internet. The number of Internet users reached 4.021 billion (53% of the world’s population) by the end of 2018, up 7% from the same period in 2017.

Most of the new users have appeared in the network due to the reduction in the prices of smartphones and mobile tariff plans that can be used by a wide range of the population. In 2017, more than 200 million people bought a mobile device for the first time.

Thus, more than two-thirds of the world’s population has purchased mobile phones (mostly smartphones). The number of mobile phone users in 2018 will reach 5.175 billion (68%), which is 4% more than in the same period of 2017.

According to data provided by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), by 2020 the Internet will have 60 percent. This means that 4.1 billion people worldwide have access to the Internet.
The number of Internet users in Uzbekistan has exceeded -22.1 million. The number of mobile Internet users is -19 million. The country's mobile coverage rate was 97 percent, and mobile internet coverage was 87 percent. [6] There are about 26,000 "uz" domain websites. More than 200 websites are registered as media outlets. The impact of the Internet largely depends on the speed of the materials provided, the relevance and level of analysis of the issues raised, and the ability to offer effective solutions to existing problems.
As our first President Islam Karimov said, we must not forget that “even a small message that seems to be trivial today, which is directed against human spirituality, is globalization in the world of information.
it can inflict enormous damage that is invisible but cannot be compensated for by anything. ”[5]
This is evidenced by the fact that it has more than 9,000 sites that promote easy ways of suicide, and more than 4,000 sites with erotic content. Special studies conducted by experts show that about 12 percent of existing sites are pornographic in nature. The available special software filters only 90 percent of the pornography on the Internet, which means that it can prevent the computer from appearing on the screen beyond the user's control. This means that no matter how hard you try, sites with pornographic content can attract the attention of internet users regardless of their desires. In particular, studies show that 42 percent of children and adolescents are exposed to online pornography.

Experts also say that 49 percent of computer games distributed over the Internet have a significant appearance of violence and malice, while 41 percent of militant games (based on various shootings and explosions) feature a game hero. It takes such violence and evil to achieve its goal. In 17 percent of the games, that violence and evil itself is the main goal.

The development of the Internet and the opportunities it provides are also addictive. It is estimated that about 10 percent of Internet users worldwide are firmly connected to it.

The UN Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy, adopted by the UN General Assembly on September 8, 2006, emphasizes the need to strengthen measures to prevent bioterrorism and the use of the Internet for terrorist purposes, among other new methods.
