Task 1 requirements
In the IELTS test, writing task 1 is assessed based on four main criteria
defined in writing task 1 band descriptor, where each criterion accounts for
25% of the overall band score. These four criteria are as follows:

graph’s main features, where there is a clear overview.

Coherence and cohesion:

Lexical resources

This criterion focuses on a wide range of specific
vocabulary used to describe trends and figures, correct spelling, and
proper usage of the main parts of speech (noun, adjective, verb,
adverb).

Grammatical range and accuracy
: 
A flexible and accurate use of

score.
