VI Other SU Team Members and Recruitment.
III. Description of the Executive Cabinet’s positions
3.0. President
3.0.1. The President is the first person who represents the interests of
students of Tashkent University of Information Technologies to the
Administration and all other viable institutions interested. President is the
person who defines and guides the strategy of the SU Executive
Cabinet, its members and other Executive Cabinet related position
holders and affairs. Henceforth, the President is a head of Executive
Power and a Chief Representative of the Executive Cabinet in other
forms of governing the SU.
3.0.2. The President must regulate the work of each Executive based on
the decisions of the Board. The President can set specific tasks to the
relevant departments under the Executive Cabinet and assures task
accomplishment and control. The President is responsible for quality
enhancement and task accomplishment of the Executive Cabinet.

3.0.3. All projects which will be organized and held outside the University
are under President’s supreme control and the Board’s Authority.
3.0.4. The President initiates and generates the projects regarding
sponsors.
3.0.5. The President has to support Executives with their projects.
3.0.6. The President is the chief responsible person in the SU Executive
Cabinet for External Issues which are due to SU, as was defined by the
Board. These might be matters regarding the responsibilities and rights
of the SU Members in exterior projects. President performs as the head
of Cooperation with Outer Institutions.
3.0.7. The President has the right to call the Special meeting with the
requirement to notify and assure the presence of the Vice-President.
3.0.8. The President has the right to be present in the confidential
meetings of the Vice-President with each Executive.
3.0.9. The President has the right to initiate the discussion of the
competence of each Executive with the Vice-President.
3.0.10. The President has the right to monitor and access the project
papers, reports and monetary issues.
3.0.11. The President has the right to temporarily replace the missing
Executive with any other SU Executive from the Executive Cabinet after
the latter’s approval or maintain the position by himself/herself if no one
accepts the offer till the Board will appoint the new In Charge of Affairs to
the position.
3.0.12 President with the Education and Welfare Executive represents
SU in Academic Councils. Whenever the President cannot visit the
Academic Council s/he can be replaced by Vice-President; in the case
that the latter is to be absent as well, then any other SU Full-Time
Official can be there as decided by the President.
