Task1
The bar chart illustrates the gender the percent of teachers across a range of academically setting at a UK in 2010.
Overall, the most obvious trends in the bar chart is that women have rates in most of the Nursery Pre-school and Primary school. In two of the six disciplines, proportion of males were higher than the percentage of females.
Looking into the diagram, men and women had completely equally rates around the 50% related to collage setting. In Nursery Pre-school and Primary school, there were very big differences between the percentage of men and women. Women were about 98-96 percent and men were about 4-5 percent. We can see that about 45 percent men and 55 percent women worked at secondary school. In private training institute, the percentage of men were more than women 53% and 44% respectively. There were significantly the percentage of men at university than women’s rate.
Task2
Nowadays many people discuss male and female’s occupations that relate to their gender at the office. Some believe that this view is correct. I do not agree this view and explain it in this essay.
On the one hand, it is true that there are gender differences certain professions. It is known from history, there are traditions in a choosing job to depend on their gender and strengths and vulnerable. For insetance, in many indevoleped countries have fewer jobs for girls, in contrast, men and boys have more opportunities. Accorting to many statistics, being teacher, nurse or tutor etc. is easy and popular among the women and girls because this type of jobs need not require physical strengths. Thus, majority men and boys choose government works or create their business and join the army; overall, they have more choices.
However, in developed countries it is very different and the society is now full of communication and differences between cultures, states, areas and so on. We know that large amount of companies, manufactures that are new created need employee that have ability. In addition, I cannot image one company, which only employed, excluding women because they are less careful, in that case, the company’s product they made may be of less of less value.
In conclusion, it seems to be, government should reduce gender inequality.
