The b level speaking test assessing oral production

Activity 1: Dialogue (6 minutes for both candidates- 3 minutes each) 

Dialogue between the examiner and each candidate. The candidate answers two sets of 

questions, each containing a B1 and a B2 level question  about him/herself and his/her 

environment (i.e., four questions in total), posed by the examiner.  

 

Activity 2: One-sided talk (8 minutes for both candidates – 4 minutes each)  

Each candidate responds to two tasks (one B1 level task and one B2 level task) and develops a 

topic on the basis of a visual prompt.
