There are limited places on this course and it is only being offered to Lambeth Schools in the first instance.

It will go London Wide after half term 2016.

Someone falls in the playground and feels dizzy; a pupil hits their head on the edge of the swimming pool and complains of feeling sick; a rugby player mistimes a tackle and takes a severe blow to the head causing him to lose consciousness momentarily. Would you know what to do?

This workshop will establish that concussion incidents can occur anywhere in a school at any time. Particular focus will be given to physical education and sports situations. Guidance will be provided on what to look for, how to deal with such situations and what school procedures on dealing with concussion should contain. afPE and published national guidance will be provided.

Nearest Mainline Station is Balham and it is a 10 minute walk turning right out of the station. Walk 50 yards and across the Sainsbury’s car park, across Bedford Hill and down Sistova Road and the school is at the end. We would urge you to use public transport as parking is extremely limited.
