Methods: brainstorming, cluster, retelling the text according to the questions,
tet-a-tet method, listening activity
Forms: question – answer conversation, individual work, pairwork,
Aids: conversation, presentation, slide-show
Control types: multi checking, correct using of grammar ( Past Perfect), pronunciation, oral speech, creativeness.
Assessment: rating balls according to the State Standard, encouragement

  1. Introducing the theme and the aims of the lesson. 6min

Good morning, my dears. I'm glad to see you. If you are ready, let's begin our lesson. So, the theme of our lesson is “The World of Music”
Today we'll speak about music, read a text, do grammar exercises and listen to music.
- How often do you listen to music?
- What kind of music do you know?
- What type of music do you like?
Music is nothing without musical instruments. Let's see how well you know names of musical instruments. Match the correct name of the instruments to the picture.

  • Why do people listen to music?

  1. Working on the text: I'm sure rock music is popular all over the world. Let's read the text on page 40 and learn a history of rock music.

Now look at these dates and tell what the text says about them.
