in Uzbekistan?

lower. 
Generally, in achieving a reduction in the level 
of corruption, world experience shows that several 
working groups and strategic plans have been created 
by international financial institutions, for example, 
ISO standards, UN reports, OECD, OSCE, Office for 
Democratic Institutions, and Human Rights of the 
Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, 
Transparency International.
The state policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan also 
emphasizes the importance of fighting corruption and 
calls on all state bodies and other independent companies 
to anti-corruption internal policies and transparency. 
According to estimates by Transparency International, 
which evaluates 180 countries in terms of the level of 
perception of corruption in the public sector, according 
to experts and businessmen, where Uzbekistan has 
improved its position since 2015 (23 points in 2018 
compared to 19 points in 2015, in the 2019 year - 158th) 
and ranked 158th with a CPI of 22 (0 - high distortion, 
100 - very clean), which is higher than in 2017 (score: 
22; rating: 157). In recent years, the indicators have been 
rapidly changing for the better, since in 2020 the country, 
having risen by 5 lines at once, took 153rd place out of 
180, gaining 25 points, and in 2021 the country took the 
position in 140th place (28 points). Moreover, according 
to the assessment of the Worldwide Governance 
Indicators project for the control of corruption for 2017, 
it is -1.16 (from 2.5 (weak) to 2.5 (strong)) [6].
