There are eight Papers in M.A. Part -II , 4 in each Semester ,Each paper carries 100 marks and of three hours duration .Stipulated teaching hours for each paper are : 60.

INSTRUCTION FOR THE PAPER SETTER
The question paper shall consist of five sections: A,B,C,D and E. Sections A, B, C and D shall have two questions from the respective sections of the syllabus and will carry 12 marks each. Section E will consist of 16 short -answer (of 5 lines length) type question which will carry 2 marks in all.

1. An Internal choice will be given by offering at least five literary topics for essay.
2. The question should be so framed that a candidate of average ability is able to attempt them.
3. Question paper should be written in a neat hand to avoid any possibility of press mistakes.

PAPER -VIII: : TRANSLATION AND RE-TRANSLATION

The question paper shall consist of two sections: A&B. Both Sections will have two questions each and will carry 40 marks each.
INSTRUCTION FOR THE CANDIDATES
Candidates are required to attempt one question each from section A & B.

Translation from Urdu into Persian.
