Theme : Reflection on Lesson Planning
Demo lesson which was specially designed and made was the reason to satisfy 7th grade school learners’ academic demands at the same time to nurture their language skills. So, that they can deeply concern with professional approach of the class coordinators or facilitator
Here are some key methods and techniques which played crucial role in conducting entertaining and educative class of mine.
Visualization , Cooperative learning, Technology in the classroom strategies are used in this DEMO Lesson
Design Thinking ( CASE Method ) , Self-learning technique, Free-online learning Tools ( technique) Flipped Classroom method is implemented in this Demo Lesson.
I didn’t have any major problems with conducting the class for school learners. Yet, there were several ideas which were partially struggling for me ( including error correction technique for school learners, Assessing criterion) As far as I know 7th grade learners are in their Pre-Intermediate level. However, they regularly make grammar mistakes in their productive skills. This would be precise approach if they are provided regular feedbacks and drawbacks concerned with their grammar mistakes in spoken production as soon as they have completed their speech. I used the same approach for dealing with this case. Perhaps this was a bit time-consuming but at the same level it guaranteed effective learning as well. If I had a chance to provide lessons for school learners again I would add some more authenticity to my classes, as they are much more affective and lively for the learners. All the members of the group is evaluated according to the class assessing criterion, which was given in the DEMO LESSON Evaluating System.
