RUSU Summer Ball 2023

Smart black trousers – you may wear black jeans but they have to be smart i.e. not baggy or ripped
Black shoes, make sure they’re comfy!

Can’t work? Get in contact with a manager ASAP
We will unlock your shifts and you can put them up for cover
This doesn’t guarantee you the night off – it does mean that we have an idea of how many are wanting the night off
We are doing recruitment runs of new staff for this event

12 hours
There are also set up shifts available, you will get a break in between the set up shift & the Summer Ball shift
The shift is a long one, but it’s a fun time & is busy so it flys by
Bring a jacket for later, especially if you are on an outside bar as it gets chilly when the sun goes down
There is a big clean up at the end of the event, with everyone getting stuck in. We all leave when its clean!
For those of you who are motivated by a pint, we all stay for a celebratory beverage after we finish!

Breaks are planned and you will all have two 30-minute breaks
You cannot take your break until the previous person has returned from theirs
Make sure you are on time for them!
These break times will be told to you on the day
Bring snacks & food. Although we have food vendors & catering, theses queues can be long and you don’t want to spend your whole break queueing for food
You are allowed to go and hi to your friends! Make sure you bring a jacket with you to cover your staff top
You are allowed to sit down the cellar if you want to get off your feet. There is also seating outside on the meadow, but you will need a jacket to cover your staff top

Wristband Exchange will be available from the Box Office in 3sixty
12pm-2pm
From Wednesday 7th June – Friday 9th June
Saturday 10th June from Midday – 7pm
Wristbands need to be collected before the event
They are void if removed or tampered with
Any issues with wristbands (they get too tight etc.) people are able to come back and get them changed at wristband exchange
They will need to have the full wristband to exchange them
