This course provides students with opportunities to acquire knowledge of strategies of team sport play, develop skills in selected team sports, to maintain and/or improve their personal fitness. Content includes, but is not limited to, knowledge and application of skills, techniques, strategies, rules, and safety practices necessary to participate in selected team sports.

Give students the knowledge to establish personal health through sport and recreation programs

Educate and motivate students to want to stay physically active and make healthy lifestyle choices beyond their high school years

Provide safe, challenging and enjoyable activities that will allow students to assess and evaluate their lifestyles

Every class meeting will consist of classroom activity and physical activity. You will dress out every time for class.

PARTICIPATION
Participation is an absolute must to be successful in this course. There will numerous individual and partner activities to master the necessary skills to compete in games/tournaments and pass the skills test.
You must participate to pass this course. All I ask is that you try your best.
NORTH HAS QUALITY EQUIPMENT FOR ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT ALL EQUIPMENT IS TREATED WITH GREAT CARE!
