ABSTRACT
The aim of this qualification paper is to present the application of games in teaching speaking skills at 4^th grade schoolchildren into the learning process.
In the recent researches on pedagogy and linguistics it is highly recommended to use interactive technologies, which involves giving pupils the opportunity to individually expand and deepen their language skills, as well as forming their subject position in determining their educational path. The paper reveals the essence of the use of game technologies in teaching a foreign language especially improving speaking skill and gives structurally-substantial characteristics of this technology; the implementation of game methods in teaching a foreign language; the content and methods of interacting games in speaking learning process and, in general, the implementation of game technologies in the practice of the school.

The Republic of Uzbekistan's educational system is rapidly progressing. “As long as spirituality and enlightenment enter the number of major factors in people's upbringing, we must demonstrate the state's concern for matters in this sphere and establish all required conditions for their development,” our president says. Every year, our legislature devotes more than half of the state budget to improving the educational system. Uzbekistan is now one of the world's leading nations, with 99 percent of the population literate and 12 years of compulsory and state-funded education, including primary and secondary general schooling, technical and academic education.
Educating youth has always been a top priority and a central goal of our Republic's social growth. Our Constitution guarantees that every Uzbek person, regardless of nationality, gender, language, age, ethnic origin, religious beliefs, cultural background or social status, receives an equal education. In due course, Uzbekistan will place a high priority on training highly trained specialists. According to the following statistics, our government is making tremendous efforts to improve the system of higher education for Uzbekistan's youth: there are 59 institutions of higher learning in service, 39 of which are teacher training institutes. To date, the number of such entities has increased by 30% since the republic's independence. (I. Karimov 2012; 13)
Furthermore, educational initiatives sponsored by embassies of Englishspeaking countries in Uzbekistan have a positive impact on English language teaching. For example, the English access Micro-scholarship Program has provided underprivileged schoolchildren with the opportunity to learn English extensively. It goes without saying that languages, especially the English language, play an important role in strengthening friendship relations and developing mutually beneficial diplomatic ties with foreign states. In this regard, our Republic has made notable efforts to emphasize the development of foreign language teaching techniques. According to a Decree signed by first President I. A. Karimov on December 10, 2012, English will be taught to schoolchildren as early as the first year of their studies, and the salaries of English language school teachers in urban areas will be raised by 15%, while those school teachers will be increased by up to 30%. This Decree has served as a powerful motivator for all English language students and teachers to work hard and do their utmost to contribute to the wellbeing of our young independent country's people. As a future English teacher to Uzbek pupils, I've decided to focus my research on one of the most controversial aspects of English language: ‘Application of games for the development of speaking skill of the 4^th graders’.
The research paper will attempt to answer the following questions in as much detail as possible:

  How can pupils be motivated in speaking classes to organize it more effective?
  
• 
  What are better methods to teach speaking to initiative classes?
  
• 
  What are the main responsibilities of teachers in conducting speaking lessons?
  
• 
  What to pay attention while choosing materials?
  

In order to answer the questions mentioned above, the researcher aims to provide not only theoretical knowledge about the subject, but also to implement game-based speaking skill teaching in school pupils and demonstrate its effectiveness by comparing and contrasting the data gathered through the study. The researcher has chosen 4^th grade pupils for further research because they are expected to be about A1 and A2 leveled in the subjects needed by the report.
