The image of 12 stars on the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan is directly related to our historical traditions and ancient annals. Our attention to the twelve stars is also explained by the development of the science of astrology in the scientific thinking of the ancient states on the border of Uzbekistan. The image of 12 stars on our national flag should be understood as a symbol of the antiquity of the culture of the Uzbek people, its pursuit of perfection and happiness in their land.
National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan - The Law "On the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was adopted on December 10, 1992 at the XI Session of the Supreme Soviet of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The words of the national anthem were written by the People's Poet of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, and the music was written by the composer Mutal (Mutavakkil) Burhanov.
