MONDAY, MAY 11, 2015 MINUTES Carol Bogacz, Vice-President for the Southwind Homeowners Association, called the Board Meeting to order at 7:01 PM. The Meeting was held at the LaVista Community Center, 8116 Park View Blvd. Beth Krolikowski, of PJ Morgan Real Estate, was present representing Management.
WELCOME & QUORUM: Carol Bogacz opened the Board Meeting by welcoming board members and management. Dave Geck and Paul Christensen were absent.
MINUTES: The Minutes from the March 23, 2014 Board meeting will be dispersed at a later date.
TREASURER REPORT: Expected to have another $2000.00 in obligated expenses and another $2000.00 for plants which will allow $14,000.00 to be carried over.
LANDSCAPING REPORT: Pet waste stations are with the City and scheduled to be installed.
COVENANTS COMMITTEE: No new violations and no current complaints. Spring letter was not sent out due to the limited number of violations.
WEBSITE: Contact information was still not correct on the website, it will be addressed within the next week.
NEXTDOOR: It is really catching on in the neighborhood and the numbers are increasing.
BUDGET: Proposed 2015-2016 Budget was reviewed and a few changes were made, a final draft of recommended changes will be emailed out to the Board for final review before the July Board Meeting. The Board did determine on adding Holiday Lighting to the Budget. All Board members also agreed to leave the annual dues amount at $80.00.
WINDSTONE PLANTING: Windstone has asked to plant trees in the entrance, along the rock beds. It was recommended that a proposal be submitted to the Board of Directors for review.
ANNUAL MEETING: Volunteer forms for Board of Directors positions that are opening will be mailed out around June 8th, requesting that they be returned by June 26th. The last week of June annual statements will be sent out to all homeowners. In July the official Annual meeting notice will be sent out in July.
BOARD MEETING: The next Board Meeting is tentatively scheduled for July 13, 2015 at 7:00pm at the LaVista Community Center. The Annual Meeting is tentatively scheduled for August 3, 2015 at 7:00pm.
