Some people think that strict punishments for driving offences are the key to reducing traffic accidents. Others, however, believe that other measures would be more effective in improving road safety. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
The last 50 years has witnessed a substantial increment in number of traffic wrecks. Some school of thought argue that harsh punishments are the optimal way to lessen them while others contemplate that other viable measures could be implemented to mitigate this current unsatisfactory condition. This essay will analyze both perspectives and provide my own attitude towards the issue. On the one hand, penalties are considered to be an effective way to promote drivers' awareness. As every single person appreciates the value of money they obtain, nobody wants to be castigated and pay a hefty fine. Being punished, they will be more alert and conscious of the responsibility of their actions. In my country, to illustrate, males basically used to drink alcohol drinks before being at the controls, in flagrant defiance of the ban, however, when the government meted out punishment with a heavy hand, hardly did citizens commit driving offences and the traffic accident rate is dwindling steadily since then.
On the other hand, however, it is undeniable fact that other feasible approaches can also be undertaken as to this ever-growing concern. For example, local authorities can organize weekly training campaigns to provide motorists with adequate technical expertise regarding traffic rules. It is also pivotal to propagandize traffic awareness among public by providing instructions on how to avoid negative ramifications of reckless driving.
By the way of conclusion, I suppose it is extremely crucial to combine harmoniously these course of actions. The government should not only undertake strict retributions, such as penalties, fines, sentences, etc. but also it ought to adopt further practices including educational projects for motorists to tackle this phenomenon.

The pie charts below show how dangerous waste products are dealt with in three countries.
A fleet glimpse to the charts provided virtually delineates the differences in three countries, namely Korea, Sweden and the UK concerning harmful waste disposal practices used in each.
Overall, it is explicit that in both the UK and Sweden, the relatively major amount of dangerous waste products are buried underground. By contrast, most hazardous materials in the Republic of Korea are basically recycled.
Looking at the information in more detail, it is clear that 82% of the UK’s dangerous waste is put into landfill sites, while the same technique is implemented for slightly over the half of the harmful waste in Sweden and only about one fifth of the whole percentage of similar waste in Korea.
The latter country recycles 69% of hazardous materials, which is far more in comparison with the other two nations. While the quarter of Sweden's dangerous waste is recycled, this measure is completely unfamiliar to the UK. Instead, it dumps waste at sea or treats it chemically. These two methods are not employed in Korea or Sweden, which favours incineration for sharply 9% and 20% of dangerous waste respectively.

Actually in my life, I have performed many different transactions which give me both sense of satisfaction and discontent. However if I have to pick out one item that really let me down, I would name the birthday cake that I bought for my sister 2 years ago. Now with reference to why I were not content with is, I suppose there was a combination of reasons here. One of them was its exorbitant price. On my sister’s birthday, I had an emergency at work and it took me almost all day till 11 pm to resolve it. Although it cost me an arm and a leg to buy the cake, I still decided to take it since it was the only bakery shop stayed open that late. Everything would be fine if it tasted good but unfortunately the cake was of terrible quality. It tasted way too sweet and was not appetizing at all. Thus, I was kind of regretful, choosing to purchase the cake instead of any other present for my sister. Actually as I had to splash out on the cake and received almost nothing back, I tended be more careful to make really sensible buying decision from that on.
