If additional information or clarification on applications is needed, the applicant will be notified in 
writing and will be asked to submit additional information and/or documentation. 
Eurasia Foundation reserves the right to verify all information included in the application. If there is a 
discrepancy, or information is found to be false, the application will be declared invalid and the 
applicant ineligible. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

VALUATION 
 
The SICA team will review applications in the order they were received and according to the following 
schedule:

The selection process is open and competitive. Applicants must meet the deadline and eligibility 
requirements outlined above. If any of the requested information is missing, outdated or incorrect, the 
application may be rejected solely on that basis and the application will not be evaluated further. 
Successful past implementation of a SICA Youth Leadership Grant will be a plus. 
Applications will be scored based upon the following criteria:

Demonstrated use of innovative approaches for solving issues of youth in proposed activities 
•
Clear demonstration of results (outcomes) from the original project proposed for replication or 
scale-up through a SI Accelerator Grant 
•
Strength of linkage between proposed project theme and at least one SI Accelerator Grant 
priority project area (see Overview section) 
•
Degree to which the project benefits persons with disabilities and various minorities, and has 
an equitable impact on women and men 
•
Clear explanation of the allocation of funding for the expansion of the existing project
