LIGIBILITY
Youth Leadership Grants are awarded through a merit-based competition open to non-
governmental organizations (NGOs) with youth constituencies, a youth-oriented mission and
registration in Uzbekistan. EF will also support youth initiatives put forward in partnership and
submitted on behalf of local self-government bodies.

SE OF FUNDS
The maximum grant award amount
is
5,000 USD
for projects that last
up to
six months
.
Applicants must specify the project duration and funding amount requested in their
applications. Projects that receive funding may vary in duration but must be completed within
the established period for which funds were initially awarded.

rant funds may be used to cover costs of materials and services as part of project
implementation.
Funding may not be used for expenses such as the purchase of real estate, the
purchase of alcoholic beverages, entertainment costs, the salaries of government employees,
business or first-class travel or the repayment of debts. Salary (exception is salary for
accountant that could be included into the proposed budget) and office expenses (e.g., rent,
utilities) will not be covered.
Grant recipients are responsible for payment of all relevant taxes, fees and other legally
mandated costs of project implementation.
Budget estimates must be submitted in US dollars (USD), and grants will be disbursed to
recipients in USD.

Applications must include the following information:

Description of the applicant, e.g., legal name of organization, address and contact
information
•
Copy of legal entity registration certificate of the applicant (uploaded separately and
saved in .pdf or .jpeg format)
•
Proposal technical narrative
•
Timeline of project activities or Gantt chart (uploaded separately and saved in .doc or
.docx format)
•
Proposed budget (uploaded separately and saved in .xls or .xlsx)
If selected the following additional documentations must be provided by:
1.
Copy of the organization’s charter (.pdf or .jpeg)
2.
Copy of certificate of registration
3.
Copy of certification of absence of tax debt (.pdf or .jpeg)
4.
Financial Management Questionnaire
5.
Proof of a bank account
6.
Copy of ID of chief executive and financial officers of the organization (.pdf or .jpeg)
7.
Resident Certificate
If additional information or clarification on applications is needed, the applicant will be notified
in writing and will be asked to submit additional information and/or documentation.
Eurasia Foundation reserves the right to verify all information included in the application. If
there is a discrepancy, or information is found to be false, the application will be declared
invalid and the applicant ineligible. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
