FACTS

• Five of the ten cities with the worst traffic congestion are in Latin America. The report found that on average, Americans lose 100 hours a year to traffic, equivalent to a loss of $1.300 per driver.
• In the history, the longest traffic jam in the world was in China. It lasted 12 days with a huge car panorama that stretched for more than 100 km.
