Professor of World Politics at University of Helsinki. Books and articles recognized by various international awards such as Hopkins Award of the American Sociological Association and Amartya Sen Prize of Yale University. Long career in academic leadership positions such as Head of Department, Research Director,m and Program Director. Chaired the IPE Section of the International Studies Association and worked as Distinguished Visiting Professor, Visiting Professor and Visiting Scholar in various universities of the Americas.
