Phonetics is the study of human sounds and phonology is the classification of the sounds within the system of a particular language or languages.

Task 4. Define below given words, abbreviations and phrases

   Expressiveness means phonetic, morphological, word-building, lexical, phraseological and syntactical forms which exist in language as a system for the purpose of logical and emotional intensification of the utterance.

   Emotiveness - the emotions of writer or speaker

   Style - refers to the ways the person uses language in a particular way is called as style in Linguistics

   Stylistic Devices - Stylistic devices refer to any of a variety of techniques to give an additional and/or supplemental meaning, idea, or feeling. Also known as figures of speech or rhetorical devices, the goal of these techniques is to create imagery, emphasis, or clarity within a text in hopes of engaging the reader.

   Belles-letter style - is a category of writing, originally meaning beautiful or fine writing. In the modern narrow sense, it is a label for literary works that do not fall into the major categories such as fiction, poetry, or drama

   Decoding stylistics - is the science which studies those features of the linguistic utterance which are utilized to impose the encoder's way of thinking of the decoder

   Practical stylistics - is the stylistics, proceeding form the norms of language usage at a given period and teaching these norms to language speakers, especially the ones, dealing with the language professionally (editors, publishers, writers, journalists, teachers, etc.)
