Description of the subject

Includes the study referring to legal relationships, reports, and obligations related to cases of Labour Law and Law of Health. The module deals with the legal treatment and regulation of the cases that require intervention from the bodies that deal with Labour Law and Law of Health. Employment law regulates the relationship between employers and employees. Labour law regulates the additional dimension that arises when employees select (or consider selecting) a labour union to represent them in their dealings with their employer.

Health law regulates the aim of establishing legal grounds for the regulation and the improvement of the health status of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo through health promotion, preventive activities and provision of comprehensive and quality healthcare services. In this course will study and define also: Rights and obligations in the field of health; The healthcare principles; The healthcare system; Healthcare institutions’ activities; Supervision of healthcare services.

The objective of this course is to introduce to students the basic information on the judicial regulation and Labour Law.

A view on the basic constitutional principles and order of Republic of Kosovo.

A view on the organizational structures (Hospitals, medical practices) and staff development.

Learning objectives

The students will gain knowledge in this area based on the positive right in Kosovo with a comparative view with the other positive rights.

With the knowledge from this Master course, the students will have a chance that logically and analytically to solve the duties that are required in the legislation area that regulates the employment and labour law field.

Students will develop the ability to critically access the law and legal argumentation in the labour law field. With the knowledge from this Master course, the students will have a chance that logically and analytically to solve the duties that are required in the legislation area that regulates in the Health Law field.

Students will develop the ability to critically access the law and legal argumentation in this field.



Learning outcomes


Students learn the basics taking an entire course devoted to discrimination in employment have the option of taking the Civil Rights course. That course studies the regulation of discrimination in a variety of contexts, one of which is employment. Approximately one-third of the course is devoted to employment discrimination. Students will develop the ability to critically access the law and legal argumentation in the labour law field. The methodologies will include the lecturing with the highest interaction possible of all students, always having the student as the focal point. Frontal and conversational lecturing, exercises (individual and in groups), and seminar work.

- A view on the labour law and collective and social rights in Republic of Kosovo

- Will gain knowledge related to the medical ethics and speech therapist

- Will develop methods and techniques for staff and team development

- Will develop concepts regarding the structures organization and health management.

: The course also examines the legal duties owed by unions to employees they represent.

The methodologies will include the lecturing with the highest interaction possible of all students, always having the student as the focal point. Frontal and conversational lecturing, exercises (individual and in groups), and seminar work.

Understand key Health Law promotion definitions and concepts by health law;

Identify the problematic issue in Health Law and study this;



Identify how health rights promotion and defence by health Law and all actors in health rights and health defence population.
