141 Virtual Education-Online Learning New Policy/Update
The discussion centered on General Guidelines #10 cyber education courses and class rank.

217 Graduation Requirements Revision/Update
The discussion concentrated on our current graduation requirements for Health/Physical Education. Our current policy states (1.0 credit) and current practice is (1.49 credit), do not match. The committee agreed to this change. The committee also discussed World Language as a requirement for graduation. Further discussion and review is needed. The Policy Committee will continue to review policy 217 at the next scheduled meeting on February 23, 2016.
249 Bullying/Cyber Bullying Revision/Update
The conversation was focused on the need to define an “One Time Event”. The administration and the committee agreed to continue to work on language defining a one-time event. Dr. Roberts will research this further. The Policy Committee will review policy 249 at the next scheduled meeting on February 23, 2016.

005 Organization Revision

Board Recommendation

The dialogue was focused on adding a fifth (Personnel Committee) standing committee. The policy committee also discussed, committee appointments, and defining the duties of the Personnel Committee. Mr. Rabinowitz volunteered to work on defining the duties of the Personnel Committee and follow-up with Dr. Shirk with those revisions. The Policy Committee will continue to review policy 005 at the next scheduled meeting on February 23, 2016.
