PRACTICAL TRAINING

Education is the process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition 
of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, 
and habits. Educational 
methods 
include teaching, training, storytelling, discussion and directed research. Education 
frequently takes place under the guidance of educators, however learners can 
also educate themselves. Education can take place in formal or informal settings and 
any experience that has a formative effect on the way one thinks, feels, or acts may 
be considered educational. The methodology of teaching is called pedagogy.
Project-based learning is a student-centered pedagogy that involves a dynamic 
classroom approach in which it is believed that students acquire a deeper knowledge 
through active exploration of real-world challenges and problems. Students learn 
about a subject by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond 
to a complex question, challenge, or problem. It is a style of active 
learning and inquiry-based learning. Project-based learning contrasts with paper-
based, rote memorization, or teacher-led instruction that presents established facts or 
portrays a smooth path to knowledge by instead posing questions, problems or 
scenarios. 
Project-based learning emphasizes learning activities that are long-term, 
interdisciplinary and student-centered. Unlike traditional, teacher-led classroom 
activities, students often must organize their own work and manage their own time in 
a project-based class. Project-based instruction differs from traditional inquiry by its 
emphasis on students' collaborative or individual artifact construction to represent 
what is being learned.

Project-based learning also gives students the opportunity to explore problems 
and challenges that have real-world applications, increasing the possibility of long-
term retention of skills and concepts.
