INTRODUCTION (abstract of PhD thesis)


The purpose of the research is to identify of conceptual-methodological problems of interethnic tolerance in the modern socio-spiritual life of the Uzbek people and making recommendations for their elimination.
The object of the research interethnic tolerance as a factor in the social and moral development of the Uzbek people.
The scientific novelty of the research is as follows:
The fact that constructive (unifying, leading and organizing) principles of "harmony of interests", "alternative", "equality", "community", "social justice" in the interethnic tolerance of the Uzbek people are the basis for sustainable development of the country.
The fact that "coordinating", "systematizing", "regulating" and "integrating" functions in the interethnic tolerance of the Uzbek people is an important educational factor in the development of social and moral features of modern youth, based on changes in the immanent characteristics (outlook, values targets, ideals) of the individual are proved;
The humanistic features of the “tolerance” category (human-welfare, justice, cooperation, prosperity) are enhanced by the functions of harmonizing, unifying, reconciling, and stabilizing national and universal interests;
the transitional nature of national and universal peculiarities, international co-operation and social partnership in enhancing interethnic and interfaith tolerance in the context of globalization is revealed;
