The dissertation work of Nilufar Abdurakhmonova is aimed at solving an important scientific and technical problem of computer linguistics. The dissertation is about development of methods for creating an electronic corpus, a model of grammatical markup and analysis of the Uzbek language corpus, linguistic and software corpus manager.

The author Nilufar Abdurakhmonova has developed conceptual models for creating an electronic corpus of the Uzbek language and effective ways of using the methods of modern information technologies for a linguistically annotated linguistic corpus. In dissertation, N. Abdurakhmonova has achieved the following main scientific results.
a) For the first time in the Uzbek language, N. Abdurakhmonova has develoved an algorithm using FST (finite state trunsducer) - the stages of linguistic analysis of lemmatization and tokenization processes using an automatic method of morphological tapping of the body using a finite state transducer and a system of morphological databases, morphotactic rules. WordFast technology used to create the translation algorithm and the translation memory of the parallel corpus of the Uzbek languag created.
b) Created a database of lexical units of various language levels, on the basis of which a linguistic database of the corpus was created and copyright certificates were obtained.
c) Created a linguistic database based on morphotactic rules for dividing into noun and verbal groups of parts of speech using FST technology for morphological annotation of the corpus.
d) Created a morphological database of the Uzbek language for linguistic processors and electronic corpora.
The results of the dissertation research are implemented in a project available at http://uzbekcorpus.uz/, which is used in teaching students such areas as corpus linguistics and morphological analysis. The author N. Abdurakhmonova gave great examples of the application of this work in foreign universities, in particular, on the inclusion of this project in one of the programs of the Institute of Computational Mathematics and Information Technologies of Kazan Federal University.
At the same time, the main part of the functional component of the electronic corpus, namely the search system for lemmas and lexemes, concordance and extraction of phrases used in the compilation of the multivolume "Explanatory Dictionary of the Uzbek Language".
N. Abdurakhmonova has published 65 scientific papers on the topic of the dissertation. Those 12 articles in scientific publications recommended for publication of the main scientific results of doctoral dissertations of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan (two of them in foreign journals), 1 monograph, 2 certificates, 1 scientific paper was published on the Web of science and 3 scientific paper published at prestigious international conferences indexed by Scopus, and 46 scientific articles and theses were published at national and international conferences..
Judging by the author's abstract, the work of N. Abdurakhmonova is a completed scientific and qualification work, which contains a new solution to an important scientific and technical problem of developing technology and methods for creating an electronic corpus, a model of grammatical markup and analysis of the Uzbek language corpus, as well as linguistic and software corpus manager.
The dissertation meets all the requirements of clause 8 of the Regulation "On the Procedure for Awarding Academic Degrees", and its author, Abdurakhmonova Nilufar, deserves to be awarded the Doctor of Philology in specialty 10.00.11 - Theory of language, applied and computational linguistics.
