Conclusions
Thus, we have considered the traditional classification of teaching methods. The source of knowledge is taken as a common feature of the methods identified in it. Three such sources have long been known: practice, visualization, and the word. In the course of cultural progress, the book has also joined them, and in recent decades, a powerful paperless source of information has increasingly asserted itself - video, combined with the latest computer systems. Of course, all these groups include many different teaching methods, but we considered, in my opinion, the most common in our universities.
So, we have identified three groups of methods: verbal, visual, practical.
Verbal methods are the communication of educational information with the help of a word (oral or printed) using logical, organized and technical methods. These teaching methods include: storytelling, conversation, discussion, lecture, work with printed sources (books, magazines, etc.). But we analyzed only the discussion method and the lecture, because these are the most relevant verbal methods that our teachers use. Working with printed sources, storytelling and conversation is more typical for school education.
Visual method - communication of educational information using various visual aids, which includes the method of illustration (showing illustrative aids, posters, tables, etc.) and the method of demonstrations (instruments, experiments, filmstrips, etc.) and the video method , which is now so widely used in our teaching.
The practical method is the obtaining of information on the basis of practical actions performed by the teacher or trainee in the process of practical work. Includes such methods as exercises, practical work, solving various problems, etc. In modern practice, various innovative methods are used, which we examined in this course work: sensitive training, game methods, problem methods and the case method. Of course, these are not all methods, but based on the requirements for the volume of the course work, we cannot fully disclose them, we will only touch on the most common and used by our teachers. Although in its pure form, none of the proposed methods is practically not used.
