Abstract

The present article is devoted to investigation of English lexeme “family” and Uzbek lexeme “oila” which means family. Deep and detailed analysis is done over English and Uzbek expression and phrases which contain these lexemes. By comparing them national- cultural specifics of the English and Uzbek lingual cultures has been revealed. Theoretical points are proved by numerous examples.
