RESURRECTION FEST 2014 presents an institution of melodic death metal as AMON AMARTH and a black metal band WATAIN in his only date in Spain and Portugal. The old school faction of RESURRECTION FEST will be represented by one of the bands which are part of the festival history as SICK OF IT ALL, great pioneers of New York hardcore punk, and also a Californian punk symbol, NOFX. The festival that takes place on July 31st, 1st and 2nd August in the Galician town of Viveiro has announced among its first confirmations an exclusive show in Spain of the death metal band OBITUARY, the sludge metal band CROWBAR, the American thrash metal of HAVOK and deathcore by AS THEY BURN. AUTHORITY ZERO also will repeat after his successful performance in 2011. And the first top national bands confirmed are HAEMORRHAGE and SEGISMUNDO TOXICÓMANO. Big headliners will be announced soon.

In this new edition, 70 big names will be performing on three stages and will participate with assistants in scheduled activities, new areas and themed zones. RESURRECTION FEST 2014 promises to be more multicultural and diverse than ever. The first betting expands stylistic horizons to new trends without losing the essence of the festival. A brand that has been growing with its audience in each new edition and has become a main reference in Europe.

Followers can still get the 3-days full-ticket for only 50€ until tomorrow, November 28th. From Friday, the 29th, tickets will be available for 60€. Furthermore, the public can comment about new confirmations with the hashtag #ConfirmacionesRF2014.

AMON AMARTH PRESENTS ‘DECEIVER OF THE GODS'
With a similar path of Slayer, the Swedes AMON AMARTH will arrive at RESURRECTION FEST with his latest work, 'Deceiver Of The Gods'. The most aggressive and dynamic album of their career meets an incursion into thrash, electrifying sounds, melodies and captivating narrative around Norse mythology and Lorke, the god of the Norse, as the dark and mischievous entity that inspires 'Deceiver Of The Gods'.
"We always started working with the idea that will write the best album ever" says vocalist Johan Hegg . "I do not think we've reached the limit of how far the band can go. We still have a lot of aspirations ... Although I try to lose myself in dreams of what could be, I prefer to focus on what we are doing right now and have so much fun on the road as we can”.
WATAIN, A GENUINE BLACK METAL SHOW
Also leading a league of its own and having gone through festivals as Wacken and Bloodstock, the black metal band Watain land on the main metal and punk festival in Spain and Portugal with their fifth studio album 'The Wild Hunt' .
