Powdered electrical materials and products have been widely used in the last decade. They are used as a substitute for expensive materials in electricity, machinery, hardware and many other industries. In turn, their use increases the reliability of the use of machinery.

Current contact materials are divided into metallographic, metallic, metalcarbide, metallooxide. The most common of these are silver-tungsten and copper-tungsten contact materials (30-70% tungsten), followed by silver and nickel, silver and cadmium oxide or copper oxide, copper (bronze) and graphite contacts.

The use of powdered contact materials in air conditioners and in strong oil, air, and vacuum connecting elements can save electricity in overloaded areas. These contacts allow the device to work reliably: it allows 2-3 million connections. One of the separate types of contacts is sliding contacts. The presence of graphite in such materials prevents them from sticking to each other during sliding. Silver or copper is used as the basis of this material.
