2016-2017 COMMUNITY REQUEST FOR FUNDING APPLICATION
Imagine, a place where there are people in need!!

Now you can design a new project that will benefit those people.
The Rotary Club of Lake Forest Park is pleased to announce its 2016-2017 Communiity Request for Funding, which provides expanded Community and Human Services for those in need in north King County. Rotary nurtures experiences that meet Rotary International’s six areas of focus (Peace and conflict prevention, Disease prevention and treatment, Water and sanitation, Maternal and child health, Basic education and literacy, Economic and community development) that are an integral part of our mission to enhance the quality of life in our community and globally. Local non-profit organizations responding to the needs, services, or programs directed to these initiatives are eligible to apply. New funding proposals are encouraged that extend to an organization's usual or unfunded endeavors that would truly benefit our local community.
GUIDELINES:

The Community Request for Funding Application for the project may not exceed $10,000. The application is available online at www.lakeforestparkrotary.com.

One or more funding applications may be submitted for projects your organization wants to address. If you are submitting more than one, please prioritize the requests by placing a number in the space on the upper right hand corner of page 3 of the form.

Projects must take place within north King County & benefit local residents.

Funds are to be directed to the cost of the specific services for which you are applying and may not be used by or directed to a for-profit program or project or used to support general operating costs.

Request for Funding Applications may show evidence of other support, i.e. partnerships with NGOs, sponsorships or private donations.

Programs & projects must be advertised to the general public. Describe how Rotary will be acknowledged: Printed material must state: "This project is supported in part by The Rotary Club of Lake Forest Park" with the Rotary International emblem displayed.

Recognition of your project's progress or completion will be celebrated in June as part of Rotary's "Changing of the Guard" annual meeting and dinner.

Final report and Presentation to Rotary

A final report is due within 30 days after the completion of the project, including promotional materials, newsletters, fliers, press clippings, photos. You will be invited to share your project with the members of the Rotary Club of Lake Forest Park as our guest at our regular Wednesday morning meeting, speaking between 8:00 and 8:30AM.
